This little red sweater has been in my knitting bag in all it's various stages of done, teetering on being scraped countless times. We, (little sweater and I) have seen the intended recipient born, and grow, no less than three times now. Hmmmm....somehow, this sweet sweater pattern in a twelve month size knitted up to be just barely a newborn size. Perhaps my insistence on ignoring what my initial gauge swatch was telling me has a bit to do with it? Anyhow, this sweet little red sweater will find a home soon, or wait until I'm a grandma myself, either way some baby will wear it some day. I hope.
This adorable pattern, which I intend to work with again, is the Manda Ruth by Jane Richmond Designs purchased from Magpie Patterns. Yarn from Debbie Bliss and hedgehog buttons found at The Ball and Skein.
Happy knitting, happy day.
